Ingredients
1 large onion roughly chopped
7-8 dry red chilies
10 curry leaves
Salt to taste
An inch of tamarind pulp
1/2 teaspoon jaggery
1 teaspoon oil
Instructions
In a small pan, add oil and heat it. Add chopped onion and fry until onions start to sweat.
Add dry chilies and curry leaves. Fry for 2mins.
Turn off the flame and let it cool.
To the fried mixture add tamarind, jaggery and salt.
Blend it to a smooth paste. Add water only if needed.
Spicy and tangy chutney ready! Serve it with Dosa or chapati.
