Ingredients
2 cups chopped cabbage
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon urad dal
5-6 green chilies chopped
1 dry red chili
6-7 curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin and urad dal. Let it splutter.
Add dry red chili, green chilies and curry leaves. Saute for 2-3 mins.
Add chopped cabbage and mix. Next add turmeric and salt. Saute for 2-3 mins.
Add water and close a lid and let it cook for 5 mins or until the water is dried off.
Relish this simple south indian stir fry with chapati, roti or rice.
