Ingredients
1 cup Besan/Chickpea flour (for 6 servings)
1 tomato
1 onion
1 green chili
1 garlic clove
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablepoon curd
1/2 teaspoon salt or as per taste
Water as required for the flowing consistency
Instructions
Making Besan ka cheela
Dice the onion, tomato.
Blend all the above along with cumin, green chili and garlic into a smooth paste.
Take 1cup besan/Chickpeaflour in a bowl and add the tomato-onion paste to it.
Add curd, salt and chili powder and mix.
Add water to adjust consistency. It should be a flowing consistency like Dosa or Pancake batter.
Heat tava and spread the besan batter gently over the tava with a laddle.
Drizzle oil around the edges. Let it cook over medium flame for 2-3mins.
Flip the cheela over to cook the other side and let it cook for 2-3 mins.
Serve with sauce or chutney or curd.
